Sheata is the Principal Solicitor, Solicitor-Advocate and Managing Partner of Grayfords.
Sheata has an expert knowledge of all areas within family law and has a successful record of representing both high net worth individuals and their spouses, often in cases with international jurisdiction issues. She specialises in complex financial assets cases and international children cases within divorce and family breakdown. Her direct, transparent, approach with her clients coupled with both the ongoing empathy and tenacity required for her clients going through life-challenging times, has gained her a reputation for achieving the best possible results in a highly cost-effective manner.
Sheata has developed her in-depth experience from working across a range of reputable niche family law firms before founding Grayfords. She is passionate about delivering tailor-made, unique, cost-effective advice to each client all whilst ensuring there is absolute transparency on probable case outcome or settlement. Sheata either advocates in court herself for her clients, or assigns the most relevant expertise and compatible barrister. She has worked with the most well-respected and successful barristers and can quickly identify the best barrister to achieve the required result at well negotiated fees.
Sheata is also a recognised family law expert within the media and has written articles for both local and national newspapers.
Neil Scott Graham
Neil studied at Christ Church, Oxford and Guildford College of Law, before completing his legal training at Farrer & Co. He brings decades of family law experience to Grayfords, having previously been a Director at Vardags Law, as well as having previously worked for Fiona Shackleton at Payne Hicks Beach in Lincoln’s Inn.
Neil is hugely experienced in family law. He has particular expertise in cases involving large or complex assets and those with an international dimension or proceedings in more than one country. He was involved in the reported cases of Sorrell -v- Sorrell  EWHC 1717 (Fam), Bentinck -v- Bentinck  EWCA Civ 175 and NG -v- KR (Pre-Nuptial Contract)  EWHC 1532 (Fam), for example, and has similarly been involved in some of the most complex unreported cases.
He is a seasoned litigator with a wealth of experience and excellent technical skills. With an eye for detail, yet able to see the overall picture he is also an advocate of resolving cases amicably, rapidly, and with as much dignity as possible, especially where children are involved. His enviable experience combined with his hard and soft skill sets makes him immensely capable of meeting client’s needs.
In addition to Neil’s wealth of knowledge he is known by clients for his high degree of empathy, compassion and fastidious attention to detail which he brings to each of his cases.
Neil has a working knowledge of French and Italian.
Ashleigh’s alternative approach, together with her sensitive but assertive nature, has allowed her to become a proactive solicitor, demonstrating her hunger, ability and passion for justice in achieving many successful outcomes for her clients. Having spent years perfecting her eagerness and methods she leaves no stone unturned in fighting her clients' causes with a clear and thoughtful approach.
Ashleigh has many years’ experience specialising in Family Law representing International Family Law clients across a broad spectrum of Family Law cases, including Divorce, Civil Partnerships, Financial Matters. Ashleigh also has extensive experience in Children’s Matters arising from separation, including Child Arrangements, Adoption and Special Guardianship, including International Children’s cases to determine where children should live.
Ashleigh has comprehensive experience in drafting and advising on Pre-Nuptial Agreements, Post-Nuptial Agreements and Separation Agreements.
Ashleigh has also taken the lead previously in a Domestic Violence One Stop Shop advising and representing clients relating to Domestic Violence Injunctions and Occupation Orders.
Ashleigh has wide ranging experience and has practised in Firms both in Central London, the South East and Wales.
Her pragmatic approach is highly valued by her clients.
Megan works closely with the Principal and Senior Associate solicitors on complex matters, providing invaluable assistance. Additionally, under supervision, she has conduct of her own caseload which includes divorce, children and financial matters. Since qualifying as a solicitor in July 2016, Megan has undertaken work involving a number of international jurisdictions, complex financial matters and Family Law Act injunctions dealing with domestic abuse and the occupation of property
Megan has a calm, analytical and empathetic approach which is greatly valued by clients.
Megan also undertakes commercial work and civil litigation and has been involved in disputes regarding property, company ownership/investment and debt recovery.
Practice Manager Linda is responsible for the daily running of the firm and ensures the highest level of service for our clients. She has responsibility for human resources, procurement, accounts and has overall responsibility for legal secretarial services.
Linda also assists with administration for Principal Solicitor, Sheata Karim.

Zia manages all finances and accounts at Grayfords. He works closely with our Practice Manager to ensure all client finances are managed in strict accordance with the Solicitors’ Regulatory Authority.
Zia is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and has a wealth of accounts and finance management skills.
Grace is responsible for ensuring Grayfords is accessible to those seeking family law advice across a breadth of mediums including our website, digital streams and social media.
She has an in-depth knowledge and interest in the forefront of the ever changing case-law and legislation in international and domestic family law and ensures these changes and developments are made aware via our regular blogs.
Grace is a graduate with a degree in Communications, Media and Technology at New Jersey’s Institute of Technology.
Sarah provides solicitor secretarial support and helps with office administration. Sarah also manages our social media presence, and is a recent graduate of Balliol College, Oxford
