Who do they help?
Every day Coram offers direct, practical help and emotional support to vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
Coram also support parents. They help them to do the best they can for their children by offering support through their children’s early years to later in life.
What services do they offer?
Coram find adoptive families for children in need of loving, permanent homes, help traumatised children express their pain through art and music and provide supported housing to young care-leavers and homeless people.
Coram Life Education (CLE) is the UK’s leading drug and health education programme in schools which helps schoolchildren avoid harm by making safe and healthy choices.
Coram support parents and families individually or in groups and provide access to more specialist help and support should they need it.
Coram Children’s Legal Centre
Coram Children’s Legal Centre (CCLC) specialises in law and policy affecting children and young people. The CCLC helps children and young people access their legal rights and helps protect them from harm.
CCLC’s services include:
- Free Legal Advice for children and their families
- Migrant Children’s Project working to ensure that migrant, asylum-seeking and refugee children and young people receive the protection and support they need
- Child protection advice for educators and professionals
- International programmes promoting the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in more than 25 countries
