Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon seem conflicted over their rumoured divorce.
Confusing reports are emerging about the end of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s six year marriage: conflicting news stories suggest that Carey has launched divorce proceedings while Canon is desperate to return to the marital home and insists the marriage is as strong as ever.
TV presenter Cannon used his Twitter feed to hit back at reporters speculating about the state of his marriage.
Reports suggest that Carey is house-hunting in Atlanta with the couple’s two children, Monroe and Moroccan. The couple currently have homes in New York and Los Angeles.
As recently as 14 months ago the couple held a fairytale vow renewal ceremony at Disneyland to celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary.
The marriage was Cannon’s first and Carey’s second, having been married to record company boss Tommy Mottola for several years in the 1990s.
Carey is well known for her diva demands and outrageous lifestyle but a report by the Boston Herald suggests that Nick Cannon had simply had enough of his reportedly jealous wife’s demands with the singer reportedly calling him up to 100 times per day.
With conflicting reports over who is filing for divorce first, it looks like there will be plenty more news to come as the story develops.
